It is invisible glazing that combines clarity, UV protection, and it is lightweight and durable. EASY TO CLEAN Artglass AR 99 AcrylicT easily cleaned - like anti-reflective glass. APPLICATIONS: Artglass AR 99 AcrylicT can be used for oversized framing, shadow boxes, and for other applications where UV protection, lightweight, shatter and abrasion resistant glazing is essential for protection. It ships in 1500 x 2000 mm sheets and has a standard thickness of 3 mm. HANDLING AND CUTTING: Care should be taken when handling acrylic. To minimize finger prints and other particles, we recommend that you wear cotton or nitrile rubber gloves when handling acrylic. Artglass AR 99 AcrylicT is covered with a protective film masking on each surface. This prevents scratching during handling and cutting the acrylic, and it should be left in place on the sheet as long as possible. To remove the masking, start at one corner and pull towards the opposite side of the sheet slowly and evenly without stopping. The masking should never be exposed to excessive sunlight or outdoor conditions for extended periods of time. For 3 mm Artglass AR 99 AcrylicT, place the acrylic sheet on a clean, dust-free work area. Cover the work table with soft, clean, lint-free felt. Use a multi-material cutter "scribe and break" method. Any glass cutter that is used for cutting regular glass may be used to cut acrylic EASY TO CLEAN Artglass AR 99 AcrylicT can be easily cleaned (like anti-reflective glass) with glass cleaner by Groglass® or any other ammonia-free cleaner and ArtglassT microfiber or any other micro-fiber / soft, lint-free cloth. Use the following cleaning techniques. Place the acrylic on a clean, non-abrasive surface for cleaning. Spray a small amount of ammonia-free glass cleaner onto a clean micro-fiber cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. To prevent overspray, do not spray cleaner directly on the acrylic. Do not use an acrylic cleaner, polishing agents, coarse or abrasive cleaning agents or dirty cloths. Do not use fabric softener when micro-fiber cloths are washed. Do not buff scratches on this product as it may damage the anti-reflective coating. Pastel or charcoal based art can become damaged by most glazing products because of the inherent static charge of the substrate.
